WB Protector

The Butterfly WB Protector is a specially designed edge tape for wide or thick table tennis blades, including setups with max-thickness sponges or defensive rubbers. This high-quality protector provides strong edge coverage to prevent rubber peeling and blade chipping caused by contact with the table or other rackets. Made in Japan, the WB Protector uses a flexible polyester material reinforced with durable PU and comes with a pre-applied adhesive for quick and secure installation. It wraps snugly around thicker racket builds without interfering with balance or grip. This is an ideal choice for Malaysian players who use heavily customised rackets in humid environments.

Usage Instructions:

1. Wipe the edge of the blade clean and dry before application.

2. Peel off the adhesive backing.

3. Begin wrapping the protector from the handle side, applying it along the blade edge.

4. Press down firmly along the tape for full contact.

5. Trim any excess with scissors, and allow 5–10 minutes before play for best adhesion.

Precautions:

• Do not overstretch during application—it may reduce adhesive effectiveness.

• Designed for single use; removing and reapplying is not recommended.

• Store unused protectors in a cool, dry place to preserve adhesive quality.

• Not suitable for children without supervision due to small adhesive parts.
