The Butterfly Edge Protector II is a premium-quality edge tape designed to protect your table tennis blade and rubber edges from wear, peeling, and impact damage. Made in Japan, the Edge Protector II features a soft, suede-like polyester surface with a flexible PU backing and strong adhesive for long-lasting hold. The tape is lightweight and easy to apply, and it doesn’t interfere with balance or performance. It’s especially useful in Malaysia’s humid environment, where frequent play can weaken glue and rubber edges over time.

Usage Instructions:

1. Ensure your racket edge is clean and dry before application.

2. Peel the backing from the adhesive strip.

3. Start applying from the handle side, carefully aligning the tape along the edge of the blade.

4. Press firmly along the entire length for a secure fit.

5. Trim excess length, if any, with scissors.

6. Wait a few minutes before use to let the adhesive set.

Precautions:

• Do not stretch the tape excessively during application, or it may lose grip.

• Avoid reapplying once removed—the adhesive is designed for single use only.

• Store unused tape in a cool, dry place to maintain adhesive quality.

• Not recommended for blades with unusual shapes or extra-large rubbers (e.g., oversized defensive blades).
